Last year, we announced that our lead animator, John McGowan, had been accepted into the 2013 Animation Block Party with his short film, Slothfulness. Back then, we were only able to share a still from the film, but the full short is now available for your viewing pleasure.

Slothfulness has been featured on Laughing Squid and numerous other blogs, including Show Me the Animation, Neatorama, and Cute Overload.

A charming tale of a sloth who just wants to fly, this was John’s 2012 thesis film for UMass Dartmouth. Not only is the story delightful, the characters are adorable and the animation really adds to the humor and charm of the piece. We are lucky to have such a talented animator on our team!
