When our friends at Lucile Packard approached us to create a video based on their founder Lu’s vision, we were immediately on board. But there was a catch – they wanted the video to match the existing watercolor paintings in their new wing. We loved the idea, but this art style was new territory for us. We huddled up to discuss the process, formed a game plan, then accepted the challenge. First, we created the water color concept design based on an old photo of a young Lucile and her husband (below). Once we received the green light, we committed ourselves to crafting a video with an inspiring story, complimented by beautiful artwork.
