2015 Year in Review
Each year, we’re exposed to a host of new ideas, products, and passions. And each year we get to explore new ways of telling stories about them. This year was no different in that regard, but it was also a year of change and creative growth for the studio. We moved into a fantastic new space and really pushed ourselves creatively to produce a wider diversity of visual styles and approaches. Our client list diversified, too, and we worked with an unprecedented range of companies, non-profits, and educators.
But enough of my yakking! Here are some project highlights from 2015:
We kicked off the year with a great little fundraising ditty for Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. We’re very close to announcing more fantastic work we’ve done with them.
Next up was our Nutshell for the Environmental Voter Project. A few months after the release of this video they met and exceeded their crowdfunding goal.
Our relationship with Kentucky Educational Television continued with more great episodes for their early childhood education series. Here’s one of our favorites:
We branched out to a kinetic text style for this video for our longtime client, Foundation Medicine. Learn more about the making of it.
What year would be complete without great videos for startups? Here’s one we did for PledgeWin:
And to round out the year, a lovely Nutshell for educational software maker Top Hat.
A huge thanks to all of our clients who collaborated with us and taught us many things along the way. And of course, I have so much gratitude for the Planet Nutshell team. None of this would be possible without them.
