Congratulations to Planet Nutshell’s own John McGowan for being accepted into the 2013 Animation Block Party! The Animation Block Party is the premier animation festival of the East Coast, and is “dedicated to exhibiting all genres of the world’s best independent, professional and student animation.” This year it takes place from July 25-28, in Brooklyn, NY.

John’s film, Slothfulness, will be showing as part of the Animation for Kids Program at BAMcinématek.

In the course of alien events, it comes time to make a bold new statement. That time is now. We’re delighted to present our new logo and website, which are both reflections of our commitment to fun, playfulness, and professional production values. The old site had been in use for at least 5 years, so it was time for  a change. The new site displays our business and education portfolios separately, which is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. I really love the artwork on our mission statement page, and be sure to check out our stylish photos on the new “Meet the Team” page. Onward!
